Progressive Women’s Network, Inc. (www.houstonpwn.org) in collaboration with the Houston Comets, will host “It’s a Woman’s World: Leadership In the 3rd Millennium”, on April 15th at the Marriott Houston Westchase Hotel, 2900 Briarpark Dr, Houston TX.
The luncheon will feature a diverse group of prominent business leaders from the Houston community. The Founder President and CEO of Progressive Women’s Network, Inc., Felica Bradford, will lead off the speakers.
The slated keynote speaker for the luncheon will be the first President and CEO of the Houston Comets, Andrea Bouchey Young. She is one of the youngest presidents of a professional sports organization, and her story is amazing. Members of the Houston Comets organization will be on hand for autographs and to take part in this memorable event.
Attendees will connect with women who want to do business with other women, and discover new contacts, resources, alliances and partnering possibilities. In addition to those opportunities, there will be a business marketplace for small business owners to showcase their products.
The event will begin with a networking reception at 12:00 noon followed by the luncheon which begins at 1:00 pm. The public is invited to attend. Seating is limited, so any interested individuals should reserve early. Tickets are on sale now for $35.00 per person, $40.00 at the door.
A portion of the proceeds will go to “A Caring Closet”, an organization that assist young girls who could not otherwise afford to attend their prom, by outfitting them for their special night with dresses, shoes and jewelry.
